Not seen any photos of you Mike. Strange that, I did look for some.

How the hell did I ride a rigid, steel bike with cantis, a minute - at least - faster than any other bike? All the others were hardtails, most with V-Brakes too! :?

Here I am! Gurning by the look of it... maybe that's my race face :? The Explosif was less than 20 seconds slower than the HHKK with v-brakes and suspension forks.

I think, like you, we've proved a good bike is still good no matter how old it is....
