Weren't Mavic shifters simply rebadged Simplex?Very nice set up you got there. What hubs are you using?
The finish is different as is the cable entry.
Those in the pic are Simplex 9100 /9300 IIRC. I don't think there is any doubt that the Mavic ones were manufactured by Simplex.
I also have another almost identical Simplex type with plastic shifters. They work in the same way though.

531 hubs

Thought I might add this, just for the porn content. These are the 100/135mm freewheel (obviously) versions that I sourced separately, and have been hanging onto for years, waiting for a worthy project on which to use them. I finally found one, and just recently built them into a set of wheels. I bought a pair of 100/130mm wide versions in 1990, and used them for a couple of hard-riding but trouble-free decades. Those ones still spin smooth to this day. With the super-lightweight aluminum axle, I don't know that these wider ones will take as much abuse, but who knows. They also had a proprietary cassette version, and I've heard the freehub can be replaced with a shimano unit, using a little ingenuity.
