Mavic specced bikes.

Other than the Le Mond Team Z and a few Whiskeytown Racers what other bikes came equipped with Mavic groupsets?

Not many by the looks of things, Bridgestone had Mavic bits on their early 90's bikes, and of course, Pace had the Mavic front mech on their first RC200 framesets. I've been fortunate enough to source a complete Mavic group set for my Pace, though it took about 7 years lol

I can only really remember Lemond too.
I have a couple of headsets fitted to bikes but its hard to find other parts now.

French market Vitus SC-1's were equipped with Mavic.
There's a test article from a French magazine in the Vitus archive.
I've got one but I'm still debating whether to fit the Mavic to it or a LOOK Mi 90.

How well does these work when combined with Shimano shifters and cassettes?

Very well indeed.I ran an 840 mech with XT thumbies and a road HG cassette on my downhill bike in the mid 90s and it ran flawlessly.
