Mavic Parts

Re: Mavic 637 chainset (inc. blk. rings 46/36/26t) £194 +postage

Giom6,

Here's some images (27) on Flickr (see link below) Mavic 637 chainset

https://flic.kr/s/aHsk5JT4tE

Am the original owner.
Ultra ultra low mileage. Light test road use only , concluded chain line did not suit the audax frame I was using. So lovingly stored ever since.
£194 +postage. Condition is obviously "post-NOS" , but not too far beyond. If you need to see more images, happy to help out.

Also can offer Mavic 845 rear mech (less jockey wheels / fixing bolt) see images (5) for details: £97 + postage

https://flic.kr/s/aHsk6fWoZL

Also could possibly help with 337 seatpost / 315 headset (blk) / maybe hubs / wheels. However as I do not have images of these to hand, and I actually rode / used the kit, so these last parts are not fully offered in this posting...PM for further info.

Re:

I don't think the Crank or the mech listed is expensive.

The Simplex Front mech listed with the groupset recently uses the same size cage as on my own Dave Yate mavic build, also if you look at this listing there is a further listing for a groupset for 85 quid, with the same mavic/simplex under bar shifters. To be fair you would pay this amount for NOS shifters on there own.

Also try velo troc velo website,

hope this helps.

just a little heads up, I think I know where you are going with these parts, and before spending any money, you ought to think of the stackheight for the headset, im unsure if a Mavic or Stonglight will fit either of the fork options you have suggested.

Hi mate,

Thanks for the heads up.

If I find one I will try it as it originally had a Campag headset on which isn't that short. If its doesn't work then I'm sure I can find something suitable.

Still undecided on paint (as I normally am). Do you think black and gold is a bit tacky?

Gio,

I have a scruffy 315 headset that you are more than welcome to borrow if you want to check the stack height.

Cheers,

Simon

Thanks Simon, that might be very useful in the future, I'll bear it in mind.

Re:

The stack height of a 315 is lower than most Campag ones of that era, 38mm versus 41.5-42mm.
