I've changed the oil, measuring out the same 50cc (50ml) as reccomended in the service manual.
ive lubed up the seals and put some in the legs, then reassembled the forks and now the sanctions move nice and smoothly/plush. Now all i need is a shock pump to get some air in the old marz

its just a waiting game for the pump to arrive now, if the forks hold air (fingers double crossed) then all i need is a new steerer tube and some graphics then they should be ready to be fitted onto the bikeAngyalpor":10exw65f said:Great! I bought mine for 12£,used.

the pump has arrived, so ive pumped up the legs they've passed the water test (no bubbles!) so now i have a perfectly working pair of classic bombers
im still keen to get the crown refinished, i was talking to one of the guys at Argos cycles in Bristol last week and he said they'd enamel it for £40 so i might as well do that seems it would cost £25 in rattlecans for me to do it myself. either that or i could get it anodised in black... food for thought
