4-arm cranksets always look awful! Whatever you do, make sure it is 5-arm. It's the law.

I can still do you an XT rear mech, 7 speed Shimano cassette and SRAM chain. I do have a five arm silver Shimano chainset but it's not compact drive, you'd probably want to source one off here, easy enough. This option will cost a lot less than £100
