Marin Monocoque: a little sister for Team Marin

Well, I think the time is coming to finish off this bike.
I saw that it was becoming too "boring" with so much silver color. It is clear that the color that best matches this bicycle is anodized blue. The bicycle is crying out for it!
I've decided to give it some small, subtle touches of blue.
So I decided to change the nipples on the wheels...how lazy, to remove the wheels that were already mounted and on top of that with straight spokes. a lot of laziness
But it's already done. I love the Ritchey Z Max tires in 1'9. So round and rolling, with those lugs for optimal lateral grip...I definitely love them, very '90s. They look fast just by looking at them.
I found a Maein Lite in blue on the handlebar. When I put the grips on you will see very little color, which is what I'm looking for, just give a touch of blue
El lock ring de cassette tambien es azul...no se ve, lo tapa la enorme drop trasera 🤣

I said I wasn't going to polish the fork, just leave it completely functional internally. I think I lied. I also said the same thing about Atac power and I also lied. I have polished both pieces and placed the corresponding or missing stickers.
This weekend I disassembled the shift grips to clean the dried grease that left an ugly color. It took several hours, but they are now clean and operational.

I had to reface the head tube 3 mm. to be able to place the Onza Mongo head set without problems.
I don't have the tool, but a shop let me use theirs. I had it new, it had barely been used in these years. It was a fun Saturday, it had been a long time since I had performed this operation, but it was essential for the proper establishment of the head set and its correct functioning.
