Think it was the 1997 Malverns I got to. Hell of a trek down from Cumbria, but it was a cracking weekend. Although some tool did ride in to me and broke my arm just before the water crossing at the bottom of the first climb.

I was just about to write the same thing!!

I was sure that was Moody's Attitude with the Bonty saddle and white cables!

Is that at the John Atkins stand then?

Think Moody won his class that day didn't he? I drove down with him and a few others and we ended up pissing off at about 2 in the morning when it all kicked off.

We all piled in the back of his van, put the bikes in the tents, and drove a mile or two down the road. Following day was bedlam after the incident...

Apologies if these have been posted before. I found copies of the Malverns 'Dirt Rag' in an old folder with race programmes etc. I remember making sure I got up early to get my hands on a copy before they very quickly ran out.....
