Magura Louise

Hi all,

Just a favour to ask.

Believe these are Magura Louise from around 2008-2009? Never dealt with these before.

Now, I need 1 metre of hose and two olives as I’ve had to change round the brakes (was opposite, left front and right rear)

Been looking online and struggling to find part numbers or reasonably priced hose.

Anyone have any about they would sell on as it’s a short amount in black?

Also do you have to have the bleeding kit for these or able to do another route?

Thanks

Magura pita nowdays,
they don't really have a UK trade distributor.

Iirc the hose isn't special, and we get big boxes of assorted olives etc that include magura, so a shop should be able to sell you a small quantity of the right parts.

I’m a Hope guy so this is new to me and not knowing what size etc but parts seems difficult to find.

Managed to find part numbers now but spares are rare it seems.

Thanks

Not sure Magura olives and hose has changed much over time. I've got a magura tackle box with various bits I might be able to help with if i know what parts you need/look like.

I found that hose and fittings were compatible between older HS33 rim brakes and a lever from a 2002-ish Clara disc brake. I built up a Cannondale with disc Headshok on a V-brake frame. Fitted a Clara to the Headshok and had a full set of HS33, so used the rear with it's own lever but it didn't look right. So fitted the lever from the rear Clara on the HS33, everything fitted as normal, lever worked and felt the same as the HS33 original.

Was even lucky to change lever without having to bleed the brakes by being careful with how I handled hose and lever after I read about it somewhere online. Also fitted a Magura brace to rear brake after being alarmed by how much the seat stays flexed. Have also used Shimano mineral brake oil instead of the expensive Magura Blood.
