Re: Macretro Fat Camp - 2013/2014

I'm usually happy under 80kg, must be over 86kg just now, Dundee velodrome for me tomorrow night I think, start of a long crawl back.

I'm begining to think you've got anorexia 47p2, you dont need to lose weight. A pound or two is nowt to worry about

Not any chance of me having an eating disorder velo, my wife can't believe how much I can eat in a day and not be fat

As Clubby has pointed out, there is a build that is still healthy that is right for you at a given period of your life. You cant be the superfit whippet thin person of your youth in your middle age. However its good to stop piling on excess lard. Be realistic in your aims, whats best for you based on recommended body masses for a given age and build. I'm 2 stone heavier than in my twenties purely by middle aged spread but i'm still well within whats healthy for my age and build. My fathers carrying a bit more than he did but he's 70 and its about right for his age and build.

I hope I fit in there some where

Re: Macretro Fat Camp - 2013/2014

not looking forward to the weigh in this weekend!

was at physio last night and the target is to be back on a bike in 2 months but nae serious off road.

then hopefully back to proper singletrack in 6 months!! - apparently i made a proper job of the shoulder!

back at gym this week to try to keep the fitness up and weight down.

Re: Macretro Fat Camp - 2013/2014

My first fitness ride of the year will be at Dundee outdoor velodrome tonight (road bikes not track fixie madness), I'll need to stay up the track to keep out of the way of the fast folk, any other etiquette I should be aware of? Decided it would be better than jumping into a full road run with them as I should see them each lap as they pass so shouldn't get lost :)

Re: Macretro Fat Camp - 2013/2014

ok back in this year, objective loose a little, shape up / redistribute the weight a bit...

sitting at 86Kg, should loose 1-2Kg holiday easily... then target 78Kg / BMI 22 or 23.

is it still a Wednesday weigh in.
