have to agree that the klunker idea is cool dr s bike was uber cool.

I am loving the TDF- mind you it looks like we'll need to wait til the alps for some yellow jersay action- however not ready to get into the roadie scene just yet.

Any one of you guys have a 1 inch quill stem (silver), I will have a flexstem up for sale if the pace fits the Orange.

I've just got back from the lakes, great holiday, although no biking , did do a lot of canoeing though.

Velo, my bike is nearly there but I need to wait to raise more money for shifters and wheels, the biggest cost of the bike.

I have gone the modern route too, with full ultegra SL (because I like the colour ) Still to work out stem length but I am going to use tha GB stem and bars from the old 'butler as a test bed.

I have one spare, it's short with a fair bit of rise (15 degree i think), has the canti stop hole in it (Tioga styleeee)

Trade for the cranks if you like
