Mark, looking like its just you and me for Pollock this Sunday morn, if your still up for it I'm still good to go. If your not I'll work out an alternative for myself :D

Cheers

Sure, still up for it :) , could only manage a couple of hours though, got a lunch date so would need to be gone for half twelve, would that be ok ?

Hello from Jamie

Hi guys
Have been a bit busy but my season is about to hit the fan so am making the most of my time before I have to start back working seven days a week till christmas
I have organised time to be at Arran and will definately be at the big trip north....or south for me
Went to Aberdeen on Tuesday to see Neil Young, brilliant night away. It was our first away since Heather was in hospital for our honeymoon. Dogs were in kennels so we had a criusy day coming back up. A friend just rang and said they have 2 spare tickets for AC/DC on Tuesday in Glasgow, so it looks like we will do it again next week 8) Have organised work so we can do it even if something comes in, as I have spent time dealing with a few strandings around the place already.
I must send out a huge karmic wave to our friend Jack (p20) from the north east clan. He had some Specialized forks for sale on ebay, I was watching them but unfortunately missed the end, I emailed and asked if he was relisting or could sell them to me through the site. Next thing I know there is a pair of forks arriving at the door with the postie
I spoke with him and at least offered postage but the great man he is said not to worry as he knew they were coming to a good home and I dont owe him anything  These are really good condition forks.
They are perfect for the 95 frame in size and colour. So let us never speak ill of those in the north east and everybody give a shout for Jack.
Those trails near Garry's look good and Kaisers pics great, when are we going? or did I miss that post?
Anyway sorry for the waffling but am home for lunch and its been a good week so far and thought I would share.

Jamie

Circuits and bumps or in my case crashes

Pollocks a lot better since they resurfaced it, nae mud, first time in the dry for me too, must go back again but not at the ungodly early time of 9am you lot do

Hilarious crash on the bermed slalom bit on the red route. Too tight into last berm caused major wobble followed by 120 degree rear slide then highsided into a tree. Climbed down out of the tree and got on with catching up with Mark

Also well enjoyable traffic jousting in Edinburgh and Glasgow looking like a courier on my SS Frankenbike. A good day out :D

Thanks Mark !

Yep, great ride :D , i'll need to get there more often even if it's by myself to get some training in.

First time i've completed a whole non-stop lap today :) , usually leave Gazz to it while i hang around chatting to AC

Cheers for the genuine Brooks seat/armchair Velo  , just the right amount of shonkiness for my clunker/bomber project which we have christened the Raleigh Bummer

sounds a good day lads :) kept in at work for me :x its a nice wee loop pollok.
