MacRetro chat and rides thread

They had cut my pay by a third already Kaiser but yeah I was a bit shocked when they told me it was on the cards a week ago- in fact it was the friday before dalby that I found out it might be happening- prob why I was a bit all over the place that weekend. Thanks for the kind words, it is very much appreciated, however lots of folks are way worse off than me and it's a time to count your blessings not mope. I'm very lucky in about every other aspect :D

Anyone know a good cycle courier firm, I know it is prob a 'orrible job but it kind of appeals

AC I did think bike shop but am swinging towards the gigalo line of work- I recon the OAP market is a rich seam of operchancity

I have your pedal straps mate so if you want to swing by the officer you will need to do so before tuesday or indeed I can cycle up next week and drop them off- A fringe ben. of being idle will be lots of time on the bike.

Who's doing what this weekend?

are you going to look for a similar job or go for something completely different?

Prob with the financial game at the moment is no-one is hiring just firing so will be looking at all options- but might find myself getting the you're over-qual. for this job and not enough experiance for the rest, but hope springs eternal. Had looked at teaching and will go for it in dec. if things are still up in the air.

Not sure I have the genetics to push the modelling envelope any more than I already do, mind you they will always need folk for the saga adverts

Financial services perry, howver I would need to do the one year teacher training before I can start appling for jobs. In scotland we have a glut of just graduated teachers and not enough jobs so might not be the best use of my time

hmm my wifes saying the same, too many new teachers and not enough jobs.
