MacRetro chat and rides thread

Great ride 8) , the Manitou was nice but a times i wish i'd been on the SSE3 those new fangled gear thingy's are no use at all

Most radical dude of the day award goes to AC for riding the fixie :D , it's a great thing, love the simplicity and i could probably get used to it on
the road, stone bonkers to ride it off road  , AC did though, and did it well 8)

Love the off road fixie AC 8)

I can convert my SS Trek to fixie just by flipping the wheel, so if the fixieXC madness gets me again i'll join you maybe. Green route and a bit of blue at Glentress was very tough though so hats off to you fella

Has Kaiser reported in alive yet from the snickers, sorry I mean marathon yet. Would have been hellishly tough in this heat today

Trek is ready to race, handles ok, brakes ok'ish, accelerates good :D

Excitement and fear are rising within me, why am I going to do this to myself ? Mind you be worth it just to see you lot out there with me, cool 8) 8)

Cheers Velo

Well done Kaiser. You're clearly a man of more mental strength than me. 8)

er.......offroad ..........fixid................ :P

I had a wee go on the flat loop at the bottom of pollock and it was kind of fun, kind of fucked up aswell, god knows how hedid some of the rougher sections?

Pics look great :D Jimi you've got to keep that Mani.

AC how does the fixed fare over the rough stuff? I ride a fixed to work and even jumping kerbs etc takes a bit of nouce. Do you have to be uber line perfect?
