My latest ebay nonsense arrived today - a £15 M951 XTR rear mech - good news is that it'll look just fine on the bike, less good is that it's rapid-rise. Ach well, at least it's worth a go, although I do normally fear change...

For those coming from edin there are major roadworks planned - we got a warning about it in the etape mailer, upto 2 hour delays expected.

I was going to pop down on the way back from the etape but you might be gone by midnight

If you want to avoid the Forth Bridge, head for Kincardine and take the Clackmannan bridge and follow signs for Kinross. It's pretty quick.
