the full sus version of this one is around 400euros at the moment - pretty decent for a niche market
I reckon I'll put pegs on, but small ones feet will be out for balance most of the time. I think an understanding of carving on the edges will help but you'd soon get the hang of it. my mates son has made one using a skateboard as the ski and leaving the front wheel on - I can't wait to see the hilarity that will involve.
