MacRetro chat and rides thread

 you guessed it, xt thumbies to complete the yo, or more mobern bits for the Saracen, think it will get the shand disc conversion, so a disc wheelset or disc brakes anything shiney, you know.....

Can you keep it on ice for a week? I need £££ to pay for the Ritchey, I'm going to try to shed some excess but may end up selling the SAB. If I do the SAB stuff would be great on the M2. I should have thumbies and disc brakes of a fashion, alos have disc hubs too.

yeah not in any hurry at all- what would be your plans for it? I got the front fork so could be a real lightweight machine.

one of my favs

Speeds and distances shall always be referred to and calculated in kilometers. This includes while discussing cycling in the workplace with your non-cycling coworkers, serving to further mystify our sport in the web of their Neanderthalic cognitive capabilities. As the confused expression spreads across their unibrowed faces, casually mention your shaved legs. All of cycling’s monuments are measured in the metric system and as such the English system is forbidden.

Roadies

One rule should be if your not a complete arse, you cannot be a proper road bike rider

I'll stick to breaking most of "The Rules" ;)

"The minimum number of bikes one should own is three. The correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned. This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner."

I think this is the rule that most of us apply, especially the s-1 interpretation.
