Gentlemen I'd like to draw on your collective retro knowledge please.
What would you recommend as my first venture into 'full suspension' I dont want a mega downhill monster more leaning towards XC.

i have a kinesis full sus bike that shocked me , did'nt think it was upto much but it went like a train ;) i'll be selling it soon but it needs work tho.......

Original iDrive! Just about ticks the retro box, and it surely will in the coming years. Proper XC, surprisingly light and very capable.

I've struggled with mine, but now that I've got a proper length front fork on and sorted out the riding position I'm a happy camper. High BB take's a bit of getting used to as well, mind. I'll be bringing it to Kirroughtree, if you're going yir welcome to a wee burl.
