MacRetro chat and rides thread

Mummy 3 was a bit pants, mostly since it didn't contain the yummiest of mummies, Rachel Wiesz.

Started watching the Shield on DVD last night, quite enjoying it so far.

If you mean the screw in bosses then I and several others have some, finally of course it comes down to getting the size right as there is not a international standard that I have noticed

For what frame do you require these pivot points ?

I`m not sure wether I qualify for " Macretro "...........I`m from Inverness, been all over and ended up in Carlisle.

Anyway just wondered if anyone fancied a sociable run out at either Newcastleton or Mabie Forest next Sunday 14th March, weather permitting of course.

Gaz depending what model it is - it's usually cheaper to replace the cups and bearings together than buy new ones. you usually see cheap ones at CRC and I happily fitted a road one from superstars with SKS bearings to my mtb - the only difference seems to be the width of the center dirt sheild.

cheers TK, the bearings are pretty shagged so will get a set on CRC, they are going for about £15 which seems cheap- are most compatible with the hollowtech or should I stick with shimano?

On TK's suggestion I'll stick this here too......looking like 24th/25th April :D

Bothy thread - some spaces available, especially on the Saturday day run. If interested please respond on the Glen Etive/Blackmount thread so we can keep tabs etc.

The proposed Saturday run is a good 'un with free camping and alternative cheap accomodation at BofO, plus a train station

Cannot see a reason for not riding Newcastleton or Mabie on the 14th, other than foul weather or ill health, RobMac ;)

As you'd be my Chauffeur you get the decision as to which venue, either way it'd be a slow circuit as I'm not fit at the moment.

Just a thought though, Drumlanrig is in the same area :D
