I have a compaq 386dx maybe, up stairs somewhere. Swore me off laptops for life. I'm kinda coming round though

My progression was

Speccy 48K
Speccy 128k
Amiga
Compaq
A life of consoles
Time 1GHz jobbie( I was sooooo impressed)
Now I haven't even a clue whats inside the big box.

Speccy 16k (then ram pack up to 48k)
Speccy 128k
Atari 520 ST
And then the decent into PC ownership starting with a 486...

i still have my spectrum zx+ with 40 odd tapes (games)

might see if it still works

Do you remember Dragons? Acorn electrons, BBC's. I did my CAD and CNC stuff on a BBC ZX81 Vic 20 Commodore 64?

God aye, still got a pile of computer mags from early to late '80s up in my folks loft. Orics, Atari 400s & 800s. Lunar Lander on my friend's ZX81 and I was hooked.
