MacRetro chat and rides thread

Quite fancy a Surly Pacer myself, used to be a tourist but haven't got the legs for long distance anymore. Fast day trips under 40 miles are more my road bag these days. Did have an original 70's Galaxy for a few years, fantastic bike that I'm still kicking myself for selling on

I'm not ancient by the way, the Galaxy was very second hand when I got it and low grade ME has taken my distance legs not advancing years. Just turned 40 and clutching on to my youth

Good to see a roady undercurrent in your retro riding, Retrobike can be a wee bit too mtb focussed.

One other thing RobMac, you ride with us at Dunkeld and you get your Tartan banner over your avatar :D

Welcome RobMac ;) , that sounds like a nice collection, what will you be bringing to Dunkeld ?

Not done a lot of riding myself lately, conditions are pretty much the same here in the west, still lots of snow and ice  , itching to try out the new Zaskar too.

I'd like to go on the Stumpjumper but given the company it'll be the Kona.

Cheers JH

Bring what you like, dont feel pressured to be on a retro steed, just that if you are not you will need to ride 1/2 mile or so behind the rest of us

Good tidings RobMac :D A fine collection of steeds you have there and new stuff is more than welcome( I have converted back  )

Hi Mr Panda
