nothing purple I'm afraid apart from 4 bottle cage bolts which you can have anyway TBH I don't know what there worth either- kaiser is your man. I have a red flite any use? I have a black/grey bodyfit titanium saddle aswell?

I think you are getting confused with this 3 events thing Kaiser. You are not expected to draw in folk from around the country- just put on and promote 3 rides. You guys did loads this year so no worries. Yes it is the idea that along the way we pick up a few newbies (both from within RB and outside), but if each area puts on the minimum number of rides we should have a nice selection of rides accross the country. Its carry on as you are really for you guys. Its not a revolution.

As velo said, Glentress was superb today. The secret stuff really helped break it up and we found another nice wee bit of downhill plus another bit that requires further investigation. We scattered numerous 6 year olds into the undergrowth as we did our best 'Hardrock shod demons of the green route' impression  Comedy moment of the ride was telling a wee lassie barely big enough to reach the pedals 'rider on the left' as I passed her on the blue climb

Didn't miss suspension at all, one of those great days where confidence was high, my movement on the bike felt natural and the bike didn't put a tyre wrong - it's been a while since I laughed like a maniac coming down Spooky Woods, but I did today. Velo got the red mist further down the red descent after a near death/ditch experience, and was not hanging back - all that adrenalin went straight to the pedals.

It's been a great week of riding - Drumlanrig and Glentress, how lucky are we central belters :)

Bothy looks good, up for 10 under the ben for sure, although the Drumlanrig night rides are just a wee bit far away/early.
