As I'm want to do my mind is preoccupied with the impending DeKerf arrival. Because of the repairs required I almost have carte blanche with this one. On one hand I'd like to restore to former glory and on the other some nice track ends and choice modren/retro appeals too :? I'm also trying to work out the means to fabricate my own stem.

Its no easy sourcing steel ahead stems, certainly 1" with a moderate length etc. Soo I'm bouncing ideas for a jig, really just need some advice on material choice and away I go. I'm a coded welder and have access to tig and brazing stuff also have all the stuff to prep the materials. finer details of method are all I need but I probably just need to get on with it and work it out as I go along.
