MacRetro chat and rides thread

Found an almost new 17t cog in the box o bits. PM me your address Gaz and I'll post it out in the morrow.

Bah, apparently CRC don't have a 20T cog in stock for me after all - took them 3 days to figure it out too - can't source anything bigger than 18t locally either

So the Stumpy is stuck with the jumpy 21t cog off an old cassette for Thrunton - so I've stuck my Singleator on to add as much tension as possible. Ugly but hopefully functional and it should help a bit.

Pretty much got the yo finished tonight, just a couple of wee technical issues but it felt tight as a drum up and down the street, can really get why it has a rep as a singletrack demon, it sort of swishes under you! just the vega to do and all bikes will be up and running.

Thinking of going to drum next weekend if anyone fancies?

Btw kaiser the cranks are so shiny, nice one thanks

C'mon then, let's see some pics! Si recommended 32:18 for Thrunton, so I reckon 36:18 might be pushing it a bit. Ach, it should be fine (famous last words).

Hmmm, Drum might be a possiblity.

I think I was on 36/18 at Trumpton. Last climb was a bind but you'll power it no probs :)

Gazz/ZZ any of you two watching the Stumpy on the bay? Just a tad too big for me but real retro cool
