White Porcs - repro

Has he mentioned prices
Around 100usd + shipping from what I have read.

These for me throw up a quandary...

At $100 a pair, the market is going to flood pretty quickly with them, and as it's 90% classic yeti people who want them, surely the market is quite limited?
Whose going to actually ride them? They weren't great originally if my crusty memory serves?
Definitely the yeti collectors and those who have spent fortunes building them won't be hitting the trails on there arc's etc I don't think.

Then to pull off brand spanking new bright white porcs, the rest of the bike needs to be mint/nos in my opinion.

If they had done repops of the black / tan porcs, I think they would be more desirable to a more varied retro market.

Or not, what do I know 🤷

I would agree with that I would buy them at that price but the shipping from usa is silly so that could kill it but it's also about if the black onza sign on side otherwise you might as well buy any white tyres I would say that once they have the moulds right and everything else they will churn out all he other models that's what I would do

It would be logical that the guy sorts some sort of Europe / UK based distribution. Would massively help with shipping for people

There's going to be a distributor in Cambridgeshire. I believe they'll have the black outline on the sidewall but no logo, as they are not affiliated with Onza

the racing porcs were very cool BITD - I never rode them. Don't think you could get them locally. I always associated them with US bikes being ridden in the SW. I was a Panaracer Smoke / Dart convert - they handled the local mud well.

My god - they weigh a kilo each…that’s a kilo of extra rotating mass on the outside of the wheel…
yeah, can't find my self buying 1kg/pc "fake" tires just for the looks. Just like buying fake King headsets from Temu/Alibaba.

If they would be made in comparable quality to originals. Like Panaracer Smokes and Darts are being made…
