MacRetro chat and rides thread

it was posted 1st class on tuesday morning in edinburgh , so it really should of been with you by now....

you got a big dog or fell out with the postie ?

Right Salsa looking like a bike now, need to fins a front derailleur and cable up stick on the chain and grips. :D breaking one of my own rules and taking it to the LBS to get the hoses fitted, the mech reckons this is the easiest way and going by my progress with this bike so far I'd tend to opine that it would also be the fastest.

I'd lost my vibe for this a few times with modern bike £££ and foibles but I'm back to excited :D

Did you get my wee parcel yet Gazz? Sent from Bishopton Tuesday morning. And have you decided what you're taking to Kielder?

Need to nip over to my folks tomorrow and pick up bike parcels - my cable set is there, just waiting on jockeys to arrive. If I can get a couple of hours tomorrow, can hopefully finish putting the Stumpy together. No GT for me on Sunday since I've got my daughter till 1, and if it's going to be a Stumpy shakedown run I don't think Glentress is the sensible place for that.

no parcel yet  I have about 8 things in the ether at the mo and if they do not arrive soon the SS Yo dream for K will be over- good old clockie will step into the breach, which is not really a hardship, did well at glentrool.

cant wait to see the stumpmeister, seems like we could all be on practically untested bikes if all goes to plan- remind me again what is supposed to be in the obligatory first aid kits?
