Wotcha Hairy types. Plenty of talk at weekend on us lot putting on a day around Thrunton in late October. Orange and Co are coming up and I've PMed all the Yorkies and the North Westerners. Do you guys have any free dates in late Oct before we set a date?? Hoping to get 15-20 retro types together.

Those of you who came down in June don't need introducing to the delights of our local spot (although we hardly scratched the surface). those who have not been- well, its the best damn bunch of singletrack in the UK- totally off the radar stuff, just don't tell anyone OK?

We were chatting to this guy in the pub last week, he has been everywhere riding, utah, morzine, les gets, etc and he said that everytime he gets off the plane he cannot wait to get back to Thrunton

Kaiser if you do the dundee CX race let me know, I'll either come along and join in or at least heckle, would I need drop bars and canti's to take part or can I use the Xizang as is? I'd need some skinny tyres I guess....and a big ring

- tis sad that someone from the west coast has to point out a bike race in my area.

Pending babysitting arrangements, could well be a go-er - If I had a preference, Sundays are slightly easier for me to swing.
