MacRetro chat and rides thread

Very funny Perry. Can you imagine what would happen if you submerged an Italian car in salt water? That's going to give me nightmares for weeks now.

no biking for me lads :(

did get the garage cleared out and started to think about how the univega will look here she is so far- not sure about the stem but really love the frame.

Damn, nice score there Gazz! Suits the red stripe xc's. Donate the stem to Dr S though :)

Did the Glentress Black again today on the iDrivel, down to 2h47m. Not bad, bike much more comfortable without the 20mm of spacers under the stem. Still waaay too slow on the climbs though, but can probably find another 10 mins before it starts to get difficult.

Weather surprisingly good, threatened to rain all day, but all I got was 10 mins of drizzle  Forecast not looking good for you tomorrow though...

Nice Univega Gaz and I'm glad to see the chainstays are supposed to be like that. First Univega of that style I seen, I was convinced it had been in some terrible freak accident.

ZigZag well done on the black, I was wondering if a lift to Inners on Saturday might be possible. Trying to get my Scooter MOT'd this week but might not be ready for Saturday. I transport my bike on my scooter, seems mad but Kaiser,Gaz and Jimi can vouch for the fact I can do it.

Cheers all,

No worries, just let me know. Hoping it passes, just so I can see how you manage to do this ;)

What you bringing?

MOT tomorrow morning, fingers crossed.

Alpinestars coming as its the only vaguely near running slightly modern hardtail I own. I need brakes unlike the clunker nutters

Cheers
