Velo my good man - Could be up for something on Saturday, though I've got my daughter till 1pm, so factoring in travel time it'd need to be a late start.

Sunday, I'm planning on hitting Glentress black with the iDrivel - weather looks marginally better for a slog than Saturday. If you (or anybody else for that matter) fancy it, let me know, can always pick you up.

What build are you going for? Any ideas? Grellow with a few splashes of red ringle would be nice.

very cheap is the order of the day, just to get her on the road and see what all the fuss is about. I kind of fancy just black- syncros is nice, and would it be wrong to go riser, think I am converted to this more modern comfort fad.

Don't worry kaiser I have some canti's for this bananna bike- would you shim a post to widen the options, I have heard some folk have issues with shims? Decals from roddy or does gil m do them- oh I am excited.

Gil does the decals for the Yo- go for the dark Pink ones on a Yellow Yo- would look cool.
MJN uses risers and a SID on his Yo and it suits his needs. They are quite low at the front. Go for a nice Salsa stem with some rise and run flat bars with some backsweep- very comfortable set up just like Auld Faithful.
I think Silver bars, crank and seatpost would suit the colour best with a black stem, chainrings, saddle and wheels to give it some balance. Too much black might look heavy against yellow. Will need amberwalls too.

Aye black and silver would be cool, pink decals and pink cables would be the bawz*. Syncros would be alright but I reckon the stems are a bit bulky looking for steel tubes. I've got ritchey/dirt research/control tech stems.Also keep in mind you can shim the headtube and I cannae see a problem with shimming the seat tube.

Must say this MacRetro chat page is becoming a Gaz/Kaiser/Si only page and much of it one liners :roll: This could be a little intimidating for newbies as they are not members of the gang
