Oi Macretro!
I'm going to organize a bothy ride in the borders in late October, any of youse lot fancy it? Plans is for a out and back route starting mid morning and around 30 miles ride followed by a night in a bothy before returning the following morning and aiming to finish just after lunch. I'm starting on the route this week and will incorporate a few stops at public houses along the way. Should be a good craic

more details to follow in the NE section over the next few days

I was thinking about this the other day funnily enough, I had read an old singletrack report and was up in aviemore near where they had set off 8)

I will follow your example Dr and post a piccie of the updated clockwork with added bounce. Needs a clean but WTF

your right kaiser, feels very comfy and looks the part however I might upgrade to v's as this modulated stopping is all well and good  .

Lovely looking Orange. Orange and White is one of THE classic colour combinations. What's it ride like Gazz?

will give you a go when next we meet maybe a wee bothy? Not as nice as a wicked indeed it is a bit more of a out and out racer so not as comfy a bike as the spesh but does have a fast feel and makes you want to go that wee bit faster, the forks do make for a more forgiving ride :D

I would ss it but that would ruin the bikes flow- gears are so last year dontyouknow.

I know where your coming from kaiser but I'm not a real zealot with this kind of thing, if the cantis are not up to the job then bugger aesthetics some nice xt v's would have been an upgrade that would have happened bitd anyway, will give the bike a run out tonight and see how it fairs.

I'm up for a October bothy blast :D

Hopefully have transport resorted by then

Want to get the Falcon properly sorted so October is now my target.
