Cheers

PROPER JOB Si 8) :D

Nice looking flat bars, what are they ?

Like the 'velo solo' spacer as well 8)

Bars are Easton Extra Wide XC from which I removed the black anno and sanded off the blasted finish. Final finish is a brushed look which I did by rotating the bars in some 240 grade sandpaper. Very tedious but they came out great. Stem is going to be a silver Hope as soon as they are back in stock, I will cut down the steerer to lose the spacer at the same time.

Thought you would like the spacers Velo

It rides great. Took it home from work tonight in the pouring rain and took the crazy shortcut down the valley side in the park- a slippery test of any bike. I stopped to make a few Tweeks and then hammered it through the park jumping off the tree roots etc.

Few things I want to do- sort out a Brooks saddle and maybe silver rims and I have ordered a Solid Silver Cotic headbadge from Jen Green.

Popped it on the scales when I got home and it came in at 21.1lbs which is pretty good for a steel hardtail.

Have to agree the bars are spot on, great way to get modern width with olde world looks. Tensioner at the front looks tidier too. Ideas, ideas!

Rasta skewers to go with the spacers?
