Up for it next year Mr P?

not sure about that - I like my gears, although SS bikes do look good. Also I live at the top of a hill so in reality prob wouldn't get used that much..........or would it.....hmmmmm

....and I have a shiney bare frame hanging around the cellar

semi stripped the zaskar down and have started building the muddy fox as a singlespeed. I've stalled for so long selling this I may as well try it out. Drivetrain of to work tonight for a clean and only need to fit the brakes. I'm taking the velo/gazz route of getting it together and seeing what happens rather than the months of procrastinating and mind changing that usually goes on  Might even treat it to a new spoon.

thats the spirit Kaiser, just get it built and see if you like or loathe it, get some pictures up.

Did something similar tonight for the stumpie, going to do a shonky build and see if I like it, it's not to big which was a concern and it is a fine looking bike albeit it has seen some action. The second pic is where I would like to go if I like the ride.

Man, fogot how thin 1.95 tires are

not any that are much good, a blue middleburn ring with just lots of teeth missing for shifting and a 38t biopace.

evening all

I thought I might singlespeed my modern Stumpy, but then I thought I would check to see if Specialized will be selling the 29er singlespeed stumpy next season that they now do in the states. I found some pics and a lot of rumours but one was a carbon stumpy singlespeed 29er and specialized may be optioning a rigid fork.
The current model in the states has 29 wheels and it comes with gears but it has interchangable sliding dropouts to convert without tensioner.
Heaven knows I need a new Stumpy
giggety giggety !
