M952 shifter window issues with Azonic PDW bars

Re:

I was purely dirt jumps , skatepark ,street and trials riding though. No actual riding of any distance so stuff got hammered.

I was riding in the late 90’s when equipment wasn’t upto the task and everything was breaking all the time. The spec my Spooky finished in (as it sits now) was basically when stuff was getting strong in about 2000 but was very heavy. Crank arms and wheels where basically disposable until I put some 24 inch Sun rims on big uns , and profile cranks.

The time when I snapped the Chubby bars is quite a memory. It was at the local BMX track where there is a small triple jump straight after the start. Not a high jump but quite long. As I pulled up for lift off the right bar snapped off in my hand. It was probably already cracked but that day I ate some dirt.

I assume your building your metalhead up ? Awesome bikes.

Yep the Metalhead build is well on its way, just working out what to do regarding the forks. I've been riding and racing since the early 90s as well, predominantly downhill.

Re:

Forks need to be beefy. Think I’ve mentioned before that the frames are so stiff that they show flex in other bits.

I’d go bolt thru Bombers or shivers for sure.

You'll only end up smashing the window anyway, take it off and make a little carbon sticker for sure.
