I beg to differ - I've got at least four in the garage as Spares for the three bikes I have that use them and reckon I'll not need them for quite some time. I've tried to sell one or two in the past and wasn't prepared to almost give them away to be competitive.

Good for you but they are not easy or cheap to find new, selling used ones is like trying to sell soiled underwear, sure, there is a market...

How would you react if I said I'd used a previously used gear cable on my zaskar build?
The inner tubes were also 2nd, or more likely, 7th hand too lol.
