Lx 563 axle and freehub into 565 hub body?

Hi everyone, I have a pair of deore LX wheels I'd like to use for a build. They are m565 parallax hubs but the rear skewer is somehow stuck fast in the axle and also the freehub skips. I think it best to buy a new hub and rebuild the existing one to save relacing the wheel. There's a nos m563 rear hub on eBay and I was wondering if the axle, bearings and freehub would fit the m565 body?
Thanks in advance!

Re:

FH-M565 uses freehubs: Y30R98010 / Y3SA98010 / Y30R98030

FH-M563 uses freehubs: Y3AC98060 / Y30P98040

FH-M565 uses cones: Y3AE03000 / Y30P98030

FH-M563 uses cones : Y31B05001 / Y30P98030 or Y3AE03000 / Y3AE98030

So... the freehubs are different part numbers but in some models they use the same cones. My conclusion is it might work with some fiddling, but it is isn't confirmed as a 100% direct match.

did you get anywhere with this? I have a Deore LX FH-M565 with no free hub body, trying to get a 8/9 speed free hub body that will fit. Cheers

I've played around with this to make 8 speed versions of M563. It all works - use the freehub body, cones and dustcover together and then the shell and LHS dustcover and cone. The axle seems totally interchangeable.
The bearing dimensions are identical, the difference is in the seal and cone detail.

IIRC 563 is 7s, so while the bits are all interchangeable, you will have to swap to 7s (no big loss in my view!)

Dodgy freehubs can often be brought back to life by removing the body, prising off the back seal carefully and flushing through with WD40, then motor oil and then greasing. Refit the seal and off you go. They usually die from the chain being lubed with GT85 or similar, which flushes the grease out.

FH-M565 can use:

Y30R98010 FH-MC38 FW8970

Y3SA98010 FH-MJ05

Y30R98030

For the FH-MC38 you need Shimano part 30R 9801

FH-M737 can use:

Y3SA98010 (also used on FH-CT90 (6-SPEED))

Y32P98010 FW8950 also used on FH-M910

Y32R98010 FW8955 also used on FH-M910

FH-M910 can use:

Y32T98010 FW8965

Y32P98010 FW8950

Y32R98010 FW8955

Hence look like the link is from the FH-M565 through the Y3SA98010 to the FH-M737, and then from the FH-M737 through the Y32R98010 to the FH-M910, which then gives options of

Y32T98010 FW8965

Y32P98010 FW8950

Y32R98010 FW8955

I remember many moons ago taking a FH-M900 (Curved XTR - ie non Parallax) taking the FH body off and fitting it to a Shimano 6400 Ultregra and swapping it from 7 speed to 8/9 speed.
