First one was a dedicated TT frame.
I was given different tubing, different lugs, a different paint job and different ancillaries to what we agreed. Unfortunately he wrote it down on a scrap of paper which mysteriously went missing. Bike rode fine, but riding at the top end of time trials is a mental job as much as physical and I never really thought of the bike as part of me.
Second one I ordered as a training bike. Came set up more like a tourer. Wouldn't go round corners fast; it preferred straight lines!!!
This was back in the days when his workshop was at the back of a big garage filled with all sorts of clutter.
I understand he is now in dedicated premises so things might be different, but I won't be risking it.
Others may well have had a better experience.
