Retro Newbie
This was my summer and race bike since 2006. I haven’t ridden it for a year and now it is officially retired, it deserves better than to end up as a turbo hack so perhaps someone here appreciates these things and can offer it a forever home. It was Cycling Weekly’s race bike of the year for 2005 and I can see why. It’s every bit as good as anything I’ve ridden since and damn sight better than most.
As you can see from the photos, it’s collected a fair amount of cosmetic wear and tear over the years but there’s nothing bigger than missing paint and scratches or tiny chips in the clearcoat and I think I’ve covered all the angles. As shown, with a headset and Shimano BB, it weighs 1.64 kg, seat tube c-c is 57 cm and TT is 57.5 cm.
I’ll pitch it at £250 and take it from there.
Buyer to arrange shipping or collect from Swindon, alternatively I could drop it off somewhere on my travels around the Swindon/Reading/South Birmingham area. (Also at Wessex League and National Trophy CX races)
