Judy sl info

I've acquired what looks to be a set of very tidy Judy sls. They was a bonus as I was lured by the long steerer I need to upgrade a mates bike and have come up short on a few other purchases

My Judy knowledge is strong up to s point, but I've never owned a set of this style before.

I want to open them up and check them over, but what will I find inside?

Based on weight I think they are coil. I had expected them to be air but I think the disks are for preload as they don't unscrew, but click when turned.

There is an adjuster on the lower leg, assuming this is for rebound?

Anyone got any info to help identify the year so I can start looking at manuals for a year down and rebuild? Or even hands on advice on how to do it. Any other I do on the fork is also appreciated.

Thanks.

That brace style is the turn of the 00s and will be hydrocoil, basically good old fashioned damping through a bath, ports and rod, ala Mag's/XC's and Bombers.
And yes single springs each side.
Try 2001
There is a bushing guide in the Archive iirc, can't remember if I put any newer Judy manuals in the Archive though.

SIDS = Air, Judy = Springs. (Usually)
