Lock your bike to bike racks?

Check them carefully if they have tape on...

Look out for gaffer tape on bike racks as it could be concealing the fact that it's been cut straight through so they can just slide your bike off with lock attached.

I usually grab rack or sign post to ensure its fixed firmly in the ground, also when using sign post, I look up to see that the chain cannot get past the sign.
