Schwalbe Rons, Nics etc are all way less than that even in the tougher snakeskin and 2.25
You're looking more at sub 500g in 2.1 probably, none snakeskin version.
Never had a problem with the.
Punctures, all my tyres by all makes get them but nowts going to stop thorns other than kevlar belts.
Even the Charge Splashback is pretty light, retro amber looks and cheap as chips.
They still get punctures though.
In general pretty much all the high end 1.9/2.0 negligible tread tyres are down the sub 450g area, the thenner and nearer to slicks the lighter they get.
Conti Explorer supersonics where 2.1 and around 450g had good summer to just getting wet tread but they dontvmake them.
I would much rather run a better tread and gain some weight, but it depends on you purpose. Just for weight? Towpath riding, Forrest's, rocks etc...
