Lidl/Adli bike stuff any good?

Seems Aldi/Lidl have been hammering the bike stuff out this summer I've bough helemt jacket bike stand and some inner tubes but being unwise to push bikes whats your general view on the stuff? I know you get what you pay for but the bike stand is very well made and for £30 you cant go wrong.

They have some more specials on Monday for panniers etc.

Personally I think you can't fault the stuff for the price. I have several tops, jackets, leggings and it all does the job fine. I've recently bought a couple of pairs of the glasses from Aldi, the ones with 3 different lenses. They fit me great, I've not been without them on the bike since and at £3.99 what a bargain IMO.

I also have a computer from Lidl on my commuter which has worked almost faultlessly for two years. It's big and ugly but has stacks of functions and IIRC it was £3.99. Getting back to the amost faultlessly bit, it doesn't seem to give an accurate top speed, mine currently reads 72mph :? .

I did get a nice pair of their amber cycling glasses.Very good and lasted well so far  .I also have the stand and its been a godsend for setting up brakes and gears,i took a few niggles out by replacing some of the bolts holding the head on.I found that it had a tendency to slip when you took one of the wheels off but other than that its pretty sturdy.
3 year guarantee too so keep that receipt safe ;)

mine currently reads 72mph
Sure thats not 7.2mph

had the winter cycling trousers and tops for 4 years now
superb things at double the money

by the way the spd shoes they did last year at £19 i think are the
exact same as the generalized ones shed bought at £80
only difference i can see is the crane sport logo , even the sole moulding
and stitching is identical

gloves, glasses, bike stand etc..cant fault them..well happy and all for the "keenest" prices :D

Ernie ;)

Ouch, I'm quite offended ;) .

Was sitting talking to a mate on the bike a while back, looked down and the speedo said 53mph. The magnet was stopped by the sensor causing it to have some sort of temporary blip. Like I said almost faultless.....

My Trek wireless computer is super accurate too as it regularly logs top speed in excess of 130mph ;)
