Wanted LH -1999-08 Campag Ergo hood (or pair)

Managed to cut mine, years ago, while I was removing bar tape. Was half asleep at the time.

Going on a beater so rough and ready condition shouldn't be a problem...

Got these unopened BNIB hoods for Campag domed ergolevers. Picture is poor as I'm reluctant to tamper with the sealed packaging.

Thanks. Halfords sell those hoods for £18, click and collect, but my levers aren't really worthy of brand new hoods.

Currently just tryng them out as brake levers with DT shifters. I'm going to try the campag 9 -Shimano 6 speed Shimergo setup when I can be bothered. Obviously, this means sorting out the housings and new cables. If it doesn't work out for me, I'll toss the levers back in the spares box again.

Swapped over MAFAC half-hood levers for prettier Shimano 1050 levers but they hurt my hands where the hideous MAFACs were fine. Probably a combination of the square-ish hood profile and where they're situated on the bars. Campag are better in both respects...

Good spot with the hoods at Halfords, I wasn't aware they were still available. With that in mind, I'll withdraw my offer as it's no longer pertinent and edit my post
