To qualify, it must be a proper cycling top and is oldest because when you bought it not when it was being originally sold.

Here is mine, back when i was a roadie and mtbs didnt exist in my world. Got it mail order, possibly from geoffrey butler sale.

Had matching shorts but the lycea deteriorates hence gone.

These old jerseys remind me of watching Hinault and Fignon battle it out on Channel 4's 1hour TdF coverage, which was about the only cycling on TV in those days as far i recall.
Here's mine. 1986 i think. Bought at Dees of Amersham cycle shop.

Bought new in 1984 along with my Raleigh team 501 in the same colours. Bike long gone but the top is still like new (and still fits!!). Perfect nowadays for when I ride my Raleigh team pro panasonic 753. I might even be buried in it Sitting on a sun lounger in Portugal right now so only have this photo to hand
