Whats a 97 GT LTS DH carbon full suspenion worth these days in good/great condition?

Just acquired this and I believe it is a 97 GT LTS but am not 100% certain.
I am wondering about it's value as I am interested in trading for an every day rider- road style mtb that can handle my 6'1" 280lb frame or just sell outright and purchase something more to my needs.

ok so this leads back to my original question of value? if its an sts or an lts ?? what is it worth and where do i go to find out? i thought i was posting to the appraisal thread but maybe im in the wrong spot? i do however appreciate the information because i certainly cant seem to get it nailed down.

All the parts are low end which are pretty much worthless.

The frame value will depend on condition. Are there any soft spots , cracks or damage to the thermo? Lugs can debond too.

Frame is worth about £350 if it’s all ok.

Full bike around the same as the value is the frame

thats what ive been looking for!! thank you so much i really appreciate you taking the time to answer. now i can decide whether its worth trying to sell it or perhaps look for a straight trade.
i wonder if yould be kind enough to offer up one more opinion? would this be considered a DH style bike or something else? thanks again have a great day !
 
In the 90s any bike could be a DH bike

I’d say it’s certainly aimed towards DH or free ride. Maybe heavy duty XC.

Back then most had one bike that did it all.
 
This is the later DS, not the DH - so around '98 if memory serves me correct. The DH and earlier STS frames had an aluminium head tube section rather than thermo as this one has. No idea what that does to change the value though.

Cranks may only be LX but they look mint so will be worth something, as will the rest of the drivetrain which looks to be a mix of M600 for brakes and XT mechs. The fork is likely to be in good condition too given the state of everything else, and the Judy XL does have its fans. None of it is going to see you retiring on the proceeds but none of it (stem aside) should make its way to the bin.
