Lots of pedals and saddles, you'd think there would be a quick release type attachment by now so we can share our comfy ones between bikes.

Here where it happens at my place.. Used to be choc-a-block but the recent cull means there's actually room to put the car away when the Turbo Trainer is not out...

oh and ofcourse you need a TV to make the turbo session more interesting, currently watching Rasmussen and Dirty Bertie duke it out in 07..

To the people with their bikes hooked up by the front wheel (or rear, in a couple of cases I noticed).. what considerations are there to storing them this way?

Should one wheel be touching the floor?

Can they be stored this way indefinitely?

I need to sort my shed and storing the 'bikes up against the wall like that could be most space effective..

With hydraulic brakes all the air will travel to the lever, meaning braking will be very poor the first couple of times.

Suspension forks / shocks / seatposts will need a couple of cycles before working properly too.

Also make sure the front wheel is securely attached!

Hmm, not quite this cluttered right now but things could be better

Thank ee..

Is it ok to hang it up by the back wheel too?

This is my first garage/workshop. I'm quite proud of it.

12x24 ft (internal)
Electricity
Double sink with Hot & Cold running water
12 ft workbench (still not big enough!)
