Local Tesco Xtra (Large store) doesn't even have puncture repair kits!Tesco used to be a good source. I once got a dozen chains for about 60p each. Some of the bargain shops eg home bargains, very occasionally have interesting stuff.
To be fair, I have loads of patches, it's the solution that's always dried out or full of air, which is the main reason I buy a repair kitI'd only use a rema tiptop repair kit - probably the most expensive, but I'm only going to have to fix it once.
You can buy strips of rema patches too if your solution is still good.
