Latex inner tubes updated

TPU definitely holds air better. Latex is supposed to be puncture resistant But I've had a wire long enough to go through a Tannus liner on the Ebike, so now sealant and Tannus there. I'm in Urban South Florida. Cleanr than inner city areas, but anything can happen around here.
And now there's a sealnt for TPU. But not for Latex which could really use it.

Caffelatex has a good rep. there, but didn't work for my tires.
The pros-
Slows down Latex tube air leakage.
Pinhole leaks go away.
Can run the lightest tires that don't do tubeless well.
Could be as light, and as fast as tubeless with those tires.
Can run older rims that may not be precise enough for tubeless conversion.
Cons-
The tubes can get stuck to themselves if you let them get fully deflated.
Works better with wide low pressure tire (Rene HERSE?)
Not as good for pinch flats.
The usual sealant in the valve stem issues. same as tubeless.

So if you want to run the latest fastest tires on your Retrorbike. RH stuff is pretty retro looking, and cutting edge technology.

Again my favorite Caffelatex works well, except for in my tires.
There is one called Flat Attack that is made for tubes, and being Glycol based doesn't dry out.
So my pfaffing around with the stuff I had sitting around might actually lead to something useful.
