It was more the appearance of Tinley's bike that was upsetting me. Although the big pic of He Who Shall Not be Named put me off my coffee a bit... He's gone back to the tri world now, I believe.

No! It is all a lot more simple than it looks. The club records were still in the dark ages when I joined (1967!) and I only improved them by a little. Eddie took them into modern times - by a lot!
