Bolt on cable stop - like the nipple that fits in brake levers but that clamps to the cable, and maybe a touch bigger.
m730 6sp indexed thumbies and rear mech
m730 brake levers (MARTIN )
Pace bolt on V/canti brake bosses (STU are you using the ones you had off me?!)
or 415mm a-c carbon forks with V brake bosses
Tasty V brake levers, grey/black/silver, can only think of Paul that are posh enough...

Hang on, inspiration has hit!
The threaded eyelet from an old canti (the part that the pad post fits through) would be absolutely perfect - anyone have such a thing spare?
