Not spying- honest! But I have to smile sometimes at the things I read -not least because I also have to confess to the odd extra set of wheels appearing in the garage and I've yet to work out a strategy to explain away the cost of the new frame I'm having made at the moment, let alone the rest of the build!

Incidently I blame one of the moderators of this forum for enticing a defenceless female down the slippery slope of bike building!

I think that's called grooming :shock:

On a more serious note (I am capable of it) it would be nice to see hear a womans perspective here more regularly on some of the forum discussions.

Just don't advise us on colour co-ordination or how to set up an XT rear mech with a Suntour thumbshifter as we'll get upset!

Don't worry - I still need advice by the bucketload - I'm nowhere near being able to give it out - yet

But if I ever get to that stage I'll re-register on the forum and do it incognito then you'll never know!!!

lol, a few years back i took my niece out for a ride to cissbury, she was 10 at the time and i was 23ish, and she whipped me! dunno where she got the energy from but as soon as she saw me looking a bit put out she sped up! girls on bikes rock

Talking of girls on bikes. I was lucky enough to go to the Riva bike festival. Me and the other half were having a spot of lunch in the park,when this young girl eleven or twelve flew past us on the gravel footpath. The next thing she is over the bars! not just over the bars, but superman arms out straight proper knees and hands job.
Me and the mrs both looked at each other waiting for the scream.no not this eurofighter, she stood up looked at her bloody knees and brushed the gravel off them. Then as if nothing had happend rode away just as quickly as before.

Girls do rock!
